Raven sits on the solid Oak Tree
Guided by the light of the Moon Willing to sit patiently through
the seasons of Life Assured that the gentle wind will
Facilitate flight
When the moments are just Right
That there is a time for sitting and watching and a time for flying and cawing
That as she ages and becomes wiser about the things that surround her
The struggle of which to do when becomes crystal clear.
That a deep and gentle knowing of the ways of the world ceases to ruffle her feathers so
That indeed there is a time to fly in the flock and a time to fly alone either is
Just fine
