Don’t Know Mind

Don’t Know Mind- Stepping Out Of The Trance Of Thinking

On one of the retreats with Jon Kabat Zinn we were in a talk amidst the hours of silence when one’s entire being hangs on each syllable of his eloquent words.

He began to talk of wisdom, intelligence, knowing as it related to Ego. He told of story of a person who was pushing for answers relentlessly and the meditation leader listening intently to the soul as if to pronounce some great enlightened response.

When he actually replied in a expressive and vocally high pitched sound…

Dunno know!

It is such a funny phrase to hear in such an environment with so many wise beings.

But oh so Profound.

Dunno Know Mind. Yes there is much we do not know. To be engaged in living at high levels, completely engaged, enthralled and invested and still be able to bring oneself to the only adequate response,

Dunno Know, takes high wisdom and brings joyous laughter.

I am surely enjoying Dunno Know Mind, as of late. It is a wondrous place.
